You've used your creative spirit to create an object with a distinctive look. Protect the aesthetic aspect by registering your DESIGN.

For a design to be valid, the object must meet the criteria of novelty and originality.

A design is new if it has not been disclosed to the public. Depending on the country, disclosure does not destroy novelty if it took place less than 12 months before the design was filed.

The design is original if it differs from existing designs in essential features and if the overall impression is different from that of existing objects.

Registration of a design does not protect the technical elements of an innovation. It also does not protect abstract ideas.
